Peter, et al ; Just want to say I enjoy and appreciate your work on this blog and Beaver Blitz. I’m 75 years old and have been a Beaver fan since I was in grade school in St. Helens. One very happy memory was from 1962 listening to the Liberty Bowl on Armed Forces Radio. I was in the Navy aboard the Carrier Hancock and me and another guy from Troutdale stayed up and listened in the middle of the night.
Anyway, Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Go Beavs!!!

Thanks Beaver_Dale! I appreciate all your kind words and your long time support of the Beavers. I also appreciate your service to our country. It is that service that allows guys like me to enjoy things like The Beavers. Not sure if you make it to any games, but if you do, let me know where you sit or where you tailgate and I will swing by! Thanks again!

Yes it is… we have some posts coming out this week. I actually have been on tour with my band the last few weeks, so have been out of commission. But we will ramp it up again soon. We are going to have a new look in the next few weeks as well… time permitting that is.

Thoughts on how the Beavers year will go. I think the attention to details administrative penalties, clock management, grade point average all will be best we have seen. I pick the defence to be 4 or 5th Pac12 because of the depth and scheme. Offensive line and run game 3 or 4th best in Pac 12. Passing games completion vs int better and the last 2 yrs.

I hope you are correct. If the offense can be more methodical and give the defense time to rest, I think the defense will shock a lot of people. Last year was probably one of the least talented/experienced defenses in three years at Utah, and yet they were second in the conference.

I worry about the passing game a lot, but if the run game goes well, we have a shot at being similar to Stanford or Utah in the last few years. I think we are still a year or two from a 500 yard per game machine, but it is on the horizon.

Let us know why you think we are a bunch of crap sacks... or if you love us. Or just want to say hi.
